Explanations
A short message appears in the menu,
for example, » 0680 Free Positions «.
This means that there are 680 positions
available in the archive for storing titles.
In the example,

If a number has already been assigned,
the message »Number allocated«
appears. Enter another number.
If you insert a non-standard cassette,
the message » Enter playing time «
appears and the recorder automati-
cally switches to the Info menu.
Start again at point 1 of this section.
The recorder winds the tape to the
beginning. The recorder automatically

searches the tape for recordings (VISS
marks).

The menu shows all recordings, and
the marking on the bar indicates the
current tape position.
The following message appears for
cassettes
» Cass-No. 015 No Entry «.
Use the function "Manual subse-
quent archiving", described on page
34, for these types of cassettes.
At the end ot the tape, the recorder
rewinds to the beginning and you can
designate recordings with titles of your
0:00
choice.
