Preparation
Open the front cover of the recorder.
Insert a cassette with sufficient playing time which is not pro-
tected against over-recording.

Explanations
The recorder is ready for data entries.
The programme position (TV station) 1,
BBC I in the example, is displayed.
If the recorder does not accept the
data, for example, if the stop time
equals the start time, the first entry
place of the data to be corrected
flashes again.
As long as this entry position is flashing,
you can "overwrite" the selected data.
If all the TIMERs are full, the message
» TIMER FULL « briefly appears.
Programme positions are selected in
the following sequence: 1, 2 through
59, 60, HI, S1, A2 oder A1.
The current date is displayed, in the
example 19.
