Before you take your recorder for repairs

If the table above does not help you to correct a fault, or if a
fault occurs which is not listed above, please take your video
recorder to an authorized GRUNDIG dealer.
In order to ensure that your entries in the archive system are
not lost if you must take the recorder to a GRUNDIG dealer
for repairs, enter your name and address, instead of a film
title, in the last archive position (see the second part of the
operating instructions, 4. Archive System, section "Manual
Subsequent Archiving", page 35, from step 3 to page 38, step
12).

Remedy
Enter the cassette number.
Enter the total playing time of the cassette.
Expand the memory
(consult your dealer).
Switch off the switching voltage by
entering the code number 8514.
