Synchro Play Function with a Second
GV 470 S VPT
You can use this function to record over old recordings and
splice without losing scenes.
Your recorder controls the second recorder via a cable.
Connecting
Open the front cover of the recorder.
Picture signal
Connect the VIDEO IN socket or the S-VHS IN socket of your
(recording) recorder with the EURO AV 1 socket or S-VHS
socket of the playback recorder.

Copying
Locate the desired beginning scene in the playback mode of
the playback recorder.
Then press the pause button (playback-pause).
In the playback mode of the recording recorder, locate the
end of the scene at which the new scene is to be added, then
press the K button (playback-pause).

Switch the recording recorder to recording pause by pressing
both M ; buttons.

Repeatedly press the

Connect the L AUDIO R IN socket of the (recording) recorder
with the L R of the playback recorder.
Control signal
Connect the SYNCHRO EDIT 1 socket of the recorder.

Start synchronous play by pressing both
on the recording recorder.
After a brief exchange of data between the two recorders,
playback on the second recorder and recording on the first
recorder start simultaneously.
