Parameters
group-name: Name of an IPv4 or IPv6 peer group, a string of 1 to 47 characters.
ipv4-address: IPv4 address of a peer.
ipv6-address: IPv6 address of a peer.
prefix number: Specifies the upper limit of prefixes that can be received from the peer or peer group. The
limit range varies depending on the switch model. When the received prefixes from the peer/peer group
reach the specified upper limit, the router will disconnect from the peer/peer group.
alert-only: When the received prefixes from the peer/peer group reach the specified upper limit, the
router will display alarm messages rather than disconnect from the peer/peer group.
reconnect-time: Interval for the router to reconnect to the peer/peer group. The argument has no default.
It ranges from 1 to 65535 seconds.
percentage: Specifies a percentage value. If the percentage of received routes to the upper limit reaches
the value, the router will generate alarm messages. The default is 75. The value is in the range of 1 to
100.
Description
Use peer route-limit to set the maximum number of prefixes that can be received from a peer/peer
group.
Use undo peer route-limit to restore the default.
By default, the router has no limit on prefixes from a peer/peer group.
The router will end the peer relation when the number of address prefixes received for the peer exceeds
the limit.
Examples
# Set the number of prefixes allowed to receive from the peer 1:2::3:4 to 100.
