Parameters
ip-address: IP address of a RIP neighbor, in dotted decimal format.
Description
Use peer to specify the IP address of a neighbor in the non-broadcast multi-access (NBMA) network,
where routing updates destined for the peer are unicast, rather than multicast or broadcast.
Use undo peer to remove the IP address of a neighbor.
By default, no neighbor is specified.
You need not use the peer ip-address command when the neighbor is directly connected; otherwise the
neighbor may receive both the unicast and multicast (or broadcast) of the same routing information.
Examples
# Specify to send unicast updates to peer 202.38.165.1.
