Usage
The default behavior of the edge port administrative status begins with the value set to false
initially after the device is powered up. If a Spanning Tree BDPU is not received on the port within
a few seconds, the status setting changes to true.
Example
This example shows how to set
D2(su)->set spantree adminedge ge.1.11 true
clear spantree adminedge
Use this command to reset a Spanning Tree port to non‐edge status.

Configuring Spanning Tree Loop Protect Parameters
Purpose
To display and set Spanning Tree Loop Protect parameters, including the global parameters of
Loop Protect threshold, window, enabling traps, and disputed BPDU threshold, as well as per port
and port/SID parameters. See "Loop Protect" on page 6‐2 for more information about the Loop
Protect feature.
