Using templates

Flash is equipped with several templates to help streamline your work. See the following sections
for information about how to use each template:

To create a new document using a template:
Select File > New.
1.
In the New Document dialog box, click the Template tab.
2.
In the New from Template dialog box, select a Presentation template.
3.
Add additional keyframes or screens to the presentation as needed.
4.
If you add keyframes, make sure that all layers have the same number of keyframes.
5.
Add your own content to the presentation.
6.
Save and publish the file.
7.
For specific information about how you can use a template, see the instructions for each
template type.
Using advertising templates
Advertising templates facilitate the creation of standard rich media types and sizes defined by the
Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and accepted by the industry. For more information on
IAB-endorsed ad types, see the IAB site at www.iab.net.
Testing with advertising templates
Ads should be tested for stability in a variety of browser and platform combinations.
Your application is considered stable if it doesn't cause error messages, browser crashes, or
system crashes.
