If you are installing an accessible device (diskette drive, tape drive, or CD-ROM
reader), attach the rails to the device so that the front of the device extends
beyond the chassis and is even with the blank panels on the front of the system.
4. Insert the device into the device slot from the front of the system unit, connector
end first.
Align the rails with guides in the selected slot. Push the device into the slot until

the rails lock in place.
NOTE: The device rails are labeled A and B and
are not interchangeable. If the rails prevent the
device from aligning properly in the system,
reattach the rails on the opposite sides of the
device.
