4. Align the rails with guides in the selected slot. Push the device into the slot until
the rails lock in place.
5. Remove the rails and ground clips from the sides of the device by removing the
four screws shown in Figure 5-12.

Card Guide/Fan Bracket Removal

The card guide/fan bracket assembly consists of three parts: the plastic card guide, the
internal fan, and a metal bracket. These parts are removed as one assembly from the system
unit chassis per the following steps.
