Post-mounting check
Is the measuring instrument undamaged (visual inspection)?
Does the measuring instrument conform to the measuring point specifications?
For example:
• Process temperature → 59
• Process pressure → 61
• Ambient temperature → 58
• Measuring range → 53
Horizontal position of the measuring electrode plane → 17?
Has the correct orientation been selected for the measuring instrument → 16?
• As per measuring instrument type
• According to medium temperature
• According to medium properties (outgassing, with entrained solids)
Does the arrow on the measuring instrument nameplate match the direction of flow of the
medium through the piping → 12?
Are the measuring point identification and labeling correct (visual inspection)?
Is the measuring instrument adequately protected against vibration (attachment, support)
→ 15?
Are the inlet and outlet runs to respected → 18?
