Park the machine on a flat surface with no obstructions in the surroundings, and remove
the key switch to prevent theft.

Be sure to use the engine switch to stop the engine.
If you lock the parking brake and move the cutting height adjustment lever to the "MOVE" position,
the engine will not stop even if you stand up from the seat, but if you stand up from any other
position, the engine will stop for safety. (The pilot lamp does not go off and the engine switch is in the
"RUN" state. In this case, leaving it as it is may cause the battery to run down). Be sure to return the
parking brake and the cutting height adjustment lever to the moving position, and the key to the
"OFF" position.
After starting the engine, the engine will not stop if you are sitting on the seat regardless of the
positions of the parking brake pedal and the cutting height adjustment lever.
4.2.3 How to use the differential lock lever
Use the differential lock lever only when loading and unloading the machine, when working
on gentle slopes, places where there is soft ground, and when it is difficult to go straight
because one of the rear wheels is slipping. Please do not use in other situations.
When operationg the machine on a flat area shile the differential lock lever is on. It may
drag the inner tire, and cause strain on many parts. These factors may cause damage to
the machine.

4.2.4 How to move the machine with the engine off
① Always put in the "OFF" position. Turn the differential
lock lever to the "ON" position only when necessary, such
as driving on a steep slope
② Please always return the differential lock lever to the
"OFF" position.
In a flat area, when the drive clutch lever is moved to the
"OFF" position (neutral position between Rabbit and Turtle
mark), it is possible to manually move the machine without
turning on the engine. Use this method when there is a need
to move the machine.
