Storage in cold regions
1) In winter, after use, be sure to remove dirt and foreign matter from the machine and park
it on a flat, concrete, or hard, dry road surface. The adhered matter may freeze and cause
a malfunction.
2) On Flat terrain, do not "lock" the parking brake pedal, use "wheel stops" to prevent the
brake shoe from sticking.
3) If it freezes and becomes inoperable, do not try to force it, but melt the frozen part with
hot water or wait until the freeze has thawed. （Please note that we are not responsible
for any damage caused by forcibly moving it.）

② Turn the engine switch key to "OFF" and close the fuel cock.
③ Clean the engine and the outer surface of the machine.
(Please keep the removed parts as they were before installation.
④ Change the engine oil.
⑤ Thoroughly clean each part. Especially, clean the grass and dust accumulated near the
rotating screen, exhaust system, air cleaner, muffler, HST fan cover, carburetor, and belt
cover by air blowing.
Remove the rust and apply rust preventive paint to the rusted areas.
⑥ Lubricate each lubrication point.
⑦ Apply the parking brake and store the unit on flat place with roof in a well -ventilated and
dry place.
⑧ Before putting a cover on the machine, make sure that the muffler and other parts of the
engine have cooled down. During storage, check the tire pressure regularly and inflate if
necessary.

clogging with grass chips, which may cause burns or a fire.
2) The blade cover debris can be easily washed away before it dries by washing it with water
pressurized with a hose.
