Transcode Yellow Alarm Signal to the network. Specifies whether a yellow alarm signal received on the DTE interface is
transcoded and transmitted to the network. The yellow alarm signal is transcoded by detecting the yellow alarm on the
incoming signal and converting it to the appropriate format to be transmitted to the network. This configuration option
does not appear if both the network and DTE interfaces are set to the same format (either ESF or D4).
Enab – Transcodes the signal transmitted to the network.
Disab – Disables transcoding.
NOTE: The interface port marked DTE must only be connected to an FCC Part 68 Registered (for USA) and Canadian
DOC Certified (for Canada) Digital Service Unit or System, such as PBX, with a DTE interface. Failure to do so
is a violation of FCC Rules or DOC Regulations.

Network Circuit Identifier. Specifies the transmission vendor's circuit identifier for the purpose of facilitating
troubleshooting. The network circuit identifier is an ASCII text string that may be up to 255 characters in length.
Edit – Allows you to edit and/or display the network circuit identifier using the generic text string entry screen.
Clear – Allows you to clear the network circuit identifier. The network circuit identifier is set to a null string.

CRC Passthrough. Specifies whether framing bits are passed to the DTE so it can detect framing or CRC errors. This
configuration option appears only if both the network and DTE interfaces are set to the same format (either ESF or D4).
Enab – When NET Framing is set to ESF, the CRC is sent to the DTE. When NET Framing is set to D4, all framing bits
are sent to the DTE.
Disab – Any framing or CRC bits that are in error are recalculated before being sent to the DTE.
