141: Magnetic Character Set
Enter one of the following to specify the magnetic character set installed:
A= None
B = NumeFic (3277-compatible)
C = Alphanumeric (auto entry for secure data)
D = Alphanumeric (auto entry for all data)
143: Host-Loadable Printer Authorization Matrix,
Enter a 1 if a printer authorization matrix is to be loaded from the host;
enter a 0 if it is not.
This matrix is defined by a user-written application program. When run, a
host-loaded matrix overrides any other printer authorization matrix. (See
also sequence number 021.)
145: 3289 Print Control
Enter a 1ifa3289 Line Printer with the text print belt (feature 9496) is
attached. Enter a 0 if no 3289 Line Printer is attached or if a 3289 without
the text print heh is attached.
147: Local-Copy Function
Models lB and 21B: Enter a 1 for this sequence number in step 8 on the
Initial Customizing Procedure Form. This function is not selectable on the
Models lB and 21B; it is automatically included in your configuration.
Models ID, 21D, and 31D: Enter a 1 if the local-copy function is being
used; enter a 0 if it is not.
Distributed Function Terminal:
If you want to use the local-copy
function on a distributed function terminal, enter a 1 and specify a printer
authorization matrix (see Appendix C).
Notes:
1. If a 0 is entered, local copy by means of the Print key is nullified.
2. If an IBM 3270 Personal Computer Attachment is configured (sequence
number 114
=
1), you must respond to 147 with a
1.
