Review this entire form before starting the procedure. Display station
operating procedures are described in the Operator's Guide for the display
station to be used in customizing.
This procedure modifies an existing 3274 Control Unit configuration. If
you do not get the expected result in any step, start over at step 1.
If
you
still do not get the expected result, report the problem.
You can negate the modification procedure at any time
before step 11
by
inserting the customized system or load diskette and pressing the IML
pushb~tton.
This will return your system to its last customized level.
There are four indicators, labeled 8 4 2 1, on the 3274 control panel. The
meanings of the 8 4 2 1 indicator codes are shown in Figures 5-5 and 5-6.
If ai:i error occurs during this procedure, the 8 4 2 1 indicator code may
help you locate the cause. Within this form, an on indicator is called a
1,
an off indicator a 0 (zero). Example:
