Checking the Existing Levels of Microcode and Host Software

You can check the microcode and software levels by using ISSACFG for NetWare or by
using the RSM for Windows NT, Netware 4.2, and Netware 5.
RSM provides an online level check function that allows you to check the level of your
adapter microcode over an internet connection. Simply click any of the check levels
links within RSM on an internet connected browser.
RSM provides level checking for :
v The device drivers
v The event logger
v The RSM configurator itself
v All adapter, drive, and enclosure microcode
To find out what level of software, device driver, or microcode you are using:
v View the device driver version (on the RSM Adapter List page, above the list of
adapters).
v View the Event Logger version (on the RSM Event Logger page).
v View the RSM Configurator version (in the browser title bar)
v Determine the adapter type and microcode level (on the Adapter View pages, the
VPD ROS and "Loadable Microcode level" fields)
v Determine the drive type and microcode level (on the Disk View pages, the product
ID, and the combination of the VPD level fields)
v Determine the 7133 Models D40 and T40 enclosure controller microcode level (on
the Enclosure View pages, click on the Ctrl link.
