1011 - Replace the feature diskette with the backup system diskette.
Do not press the /ML pushbutton. (If you do, go back to step
3.) Within 1 minute, the indicator code will change to a 1000
and remain this way for approximately 15 minutes. Then, the
indicator code will change to 1111 (all lights are on), indicating
backup system diskette generation is successfully completed. If
errors occur during this 15-minute period, a flashing 8 4 2 1
indicator code appears. Figures 6-5 and 6-6 may help you locate
the cause.
1101 - Replace the feature diskette with the language diskette. Do not
press the /ML pushbutton. (If you do press the IML pushbutton,
go back to step 3.) Within 30 seconds, the indicator code will
change to 0111 and then to flashing 1011 within 1 minute.
When the indicator code is flashing 1011, replace the language
diskette with the backup system diskette. Do not press the
/ML pushbutton. Within 1 minute, the indicator code
will change to a 1000 and remain this way for approximately
15 minutes. Then, the indicator code will change to 1111 (all
the lights are on), indicating backup system diskette generation
is successfully completed. If errors occur during this 15-minute
period, a flashing 8 4 2 1 indicator code will appear. Figures 6-5
and 6-6 may help you locate the cause.
The newly created backup system diskette may now be used as well as the
existing customized system diskette. Be sure the 3274 is attached to the
appropriate communication facility. The backup system diskette may
now be used to initiate an IM L of the 3274. During IM L, errors may occur
because of improper backup diskette creation. Figure 6-7 shows the 8 4 2 1
indicator codes caused by these errors.
