Second Digit:
0 - RTM support not wanted.
1 -
End response time measurement when the first character is displayed
on screen.
2 - End response time measurement when the keyboard again becomes
usable.
3 -
End response time measurement when a Change Direction (CD) or End
Bracket (EB) indication is received. (A CD in conjunction with a Read
command will not stop the timer.)
Note: Response 3 is applicable to SDLC networks only.
Response time measurement starts with recognition by the control unit of
an inbound AID request, for example, by pressing the ENTER key. The
second digit responses define the end of the measurement.
Nonzero responses to sequence number 127 cause sequence number 128,
RTM Boundaries and Interface Specification, to be displayed later in the
customization sequence.
See Appendix Kin this publication for more details concerning RTM.
