8. At this time, either sequence number 021 is displayed (meaning that no
printer authorization matrix has been defined) or the defined matrix is
displayed.
If sequence number 021 is displayed, type in a 0 (zero). Press ENTER.
If the matrix is displayed, move the cursor to the zero after sequence
number 901 and change it to a 1. Press ENTER.
9. Type in the number of RPO diskettes ____ being used in response to
(0-3)
sequence number 031. Press ENTER.
Note: If you respond to sequence number 031 with a 1, 2, or 3, sequence
number 032 may be displayed. If you have been given specific RPO
parameter instructions, follow those instructions. If not, type in a 0 in
response to 032 and press ENTER.
10. The entire set of sequence numbers should now be displayed on the
screen. Move the cursor to the zero after sequence number 900, and
change it to a 1. Press ENTER.
If all the entries are acceptable, the screen will be cleared af'ld:
a. If the response to sequence number 127 was nonzero, sequence
number 128 (a panel) will be displayed. Enter the responses given
for sequence number 128 on the procedure sheet attached to this
form. When the responses are accepted, go to step 11.
b. If the response to sequence number 127 was zero, the screen remains
cleared. Go to step 11.
11. Within 2 minutes, the 8 4 2 1 indicator code on the 3274 Control Unit
should be flashing one of the following:
1100 - Replace the feature diskette with the RPO diskette. Do not
press the /ML pushbutton. (If you do press the IM L push-
button, go back to step 3.) After the RPO diskette is inserted,
the code will change to 0111 within 30 seconds. If additional
RPO diskettes are required or if you inserted a diskette that is not
an RPO diskette, the indicator code will again flash 1100.
Repeat the procedure for each additional RPO diskette. At no
time should you press the /ML pushbutton. When the RPO
diskette procedure is completed, the indicator code should be
flashing 1110. Reinsert the feature diskette. Do not press the
/ML pushbutton. Within 2 minutes, the 8 4 2 1 indicator code
will flash 1011 or 1101.
