VI. SERVICE MODE
A. Outline
1. How to Enter the Service Mode
1) Turn the power switch ON with the Up and Down arrow keys held down.
2) Make sure that "Initializing' is displayed on the message display before releasing your fingers from these
keys.
« The printer enters the service mode, and then "Factory Mode" is displayed on the message display. The
"Mdia Guide Adjst" service mode menu is then displayed.
2. How to Exit the Service Mode
Turn the power switch OFF.
3. Service Mode Menu Items
Table 1-306 shows the service mode menus provided on this printer.

Compensation of head temperature sensor
Clear Waste Tank
Clear waste ink counter
Service St. Check
Purge unit check mode (for factory setting)
