1. How to Cancel the Capping for the
Purging Unit
There are two ways for cancelling the capping
for the purge unit.
a)
Open the dust cover while the printer is in
stand-by mode.
b) Turn the driving gear of the purge unit
counterclockwise manually while the power of
the unit is in OFF mode. In this case, stop
turning the gear when the four absorbers in the
purging unit are lowered by visual observation.

Removing the Cover Caterpillar Unit
Remove the left, right, rear and right rear cov-
ers.
Remove the head joint @ from the cartridge
and place it on the joint stand.
Open the tube cock @ and return the ink in the
tube to the buffer section.
