This Service Manual describes the basic information required when servicing BJ-W7000 Printer in order
to maintain quality and performance at an optimum.
This manual is divided into the following six sections.
Chapter 1 General Introduction
: Describes the feature, specifications, operation method and
handling precautions of the BJ-W7000 Printer.
Chapter 2 Operation
: Describes the operating principles of the mechanical and
electrical systems by function.
Chapter 3 Mechanical System
: Describes how to disassemble and assemble the mechanical
system
Chapter 4 Maintenance and Inspection
: Lists the periodic replacement parts table, target wear table
for consumables and the periodic servicing table.
Chapter 5 Troubleshooting
: Describes
maintenance
and inspection,
standards,
adjustment, how to remedy faulty image reproduction and
how to remedy faulty operation.
Appendix
: Circuit diagram, PCB wiring diagrams, etc.
The following rules apply throughout this Service Manual:

. Each chapter contains sections explaining the purpose of specific functions and the relationship
between electrical and mechanical systems with reference to the timing of operation.
In the diagrams, =acucecer represents the mechanical drive path, —-->
indicates the direction of
the electric signal.
2. In the digital circuits, '1' is used to indicate that the voltage level of a given signal is "High," while '0' is
used to indicate "Low." (The voltage value, however, differs from circuit to circuit.)
3. In practically ail cases, the internal mechanisms of a microprocessor cannot be checked in the field.
Therefore, the operation of the microprocessors used in the machines are not discussed.
The descriptions in this Service Manual are subject to change without notice for product improvement or
other reasons, and major changes will be communicated in the form of Service Information.
All service persons are expected to have a good understanding of the contents of this Service Manual and
all relevant Service Information and be able to identify and isolate faults in the machine.
