A. Ink bottle replacement
display
The ink level in the ink bottle is detected using
the ink level sensor in the ink bottle case. When the
ink level is lowered, the following messages are
indicated on the message display.
(In the case of the black ink cartridge)
Ink OK
Ink bottle Near Empty
Ink bottle Empty

When the tank is nearly empty, prepare a new
ink bottle. When the Ink bottle is empty, replace the
ink bottle and bubble jet cartridge with a new ink
bottle and a cartridge at the same time.

B. Waste ink tank full display
This printer detect the amount of ink in the
waste ink tank by counting the number of ink suc-
tion.
The alarm message is displayed on the control
panel when the rest of the waste ink tank capacity
becomes approx. 250ml.

Thereafter, error code [C8] will be displayed on
the contro! panel when the waste ink tank becomes
full. To reset error : [C8], replace the waste ink tank
and reset the waste ink counter with the service
mode.
