2. When attaching the platen, make sure
that two hooks are hooked in place as
shown in Figure 3-407.
3. After installing the platen, carry out the
adjustment of the media sensor gain and
media sensor light intensity. (See pages
5-7 and 5-8.)

2. Removing the Platen
1) Open the dust cover and lower the feeder unit
release lever.

Remove 2 mounting screws @, and remove
the platen @.

3) Remove the roll media feed guide unit. (See

4) Disconnect the connector @ and remove the
screw @), remove the sensor mount @)from the
rear of the printer.
