Feature
Records printer performance and adjustment history data.
Displays the printer information shown below.
Displays the following EEPROM information of the printhead.
Displays the numbers of days passed since installation of the following
ink tanks.
Displays the warning history (up to 20 events). The newest event has
the smallest history number.
Displays the error history (up to 20 events). The newest event has the
smallest history number.
Displays log of jams that have occurred (up to five events). The
newest event has the smallest history number.
Displays the number of times the remaining ink level detection function
was turned off, to accommodate refilled ink cartridges in the order of
C, M, Y, MBK and BK.
The status of each sensor and switch is shown in the display.
Prints the nozzle check pattern
Set or initialize the registration adjustment values of each printheads.
This mode is for adjusting the optical axis of the head management
sensor. For details, refer to "Disassembly/Reassembly" > "Adjustment
and Setup Items" > "Pro- after replacing the head management
sensor".
This mode measures the gap between the printhead and media by
using the multi sensor and corrects the calibration value.
Change the type of the feed roller.
Prints the pattern for auto head adjustment and adjust it (rough
adjustment).
Prints the pattern for auto head adjustment and adjust it.
Executes automatic head adjustment. Make this adjustment if the
registration remains partially misregistered after user-mode head
adjustment.
Adjust the carriage motor rotation.
This mode is to perform the fine adjustment of the leading and trailing
edge margin.
Locks/unlocks the carriage with the covers closed
Checks Purge Unit operation with the covers closed
Checks carriage movement while changing scan settings
Sets the number of scans (1 to 30) to be performed with CR AUTO
SCAN.
Sets the scan width to be performed with CR AUTO SCAN.
Sets the speed of the scan to be performed with CR AUTO SCAN.
Confirms the ink stirring operation
Checks multi-sensor status and distance from media
Checks nozzle operation
Confirms nozzle function and non-ejection status
Checks DDR & EEP memory function
Confirms Printhead electrical contact status
Performs the self-diagnosis about the drive state of the carriage unit.
Performs in case the printhead is abnormal. It can guess whether the
failure cause is the printhead or not.
