8) Attach the joint cap on the joint section of the
ink bottle case.

Remove the two mounting screws and remove
the ink bottle case from the printer body.

10) Fix the ink supply tubes on the rear of the printer
using an ashesive tape.

11) install the tube cover using the reverse proce-
dure of the procedure 5.
12) Separately carry the printer body and the ink
bottle case to their destination.
CAUTION
;
When carrying the printer and the ink bottle
case, don't tilt them because ink might flow
out.
B. When the printer is moved
using a track or
transportation device.
1) Press the ROLL/SHEET key and set the path
change plate to "ROLL" mode position.
CAUTION
If the path change plate is in "CUT SHEET"
the mode position , the feeder roller might
be damaged. Always set the path change
plate to "ROLL" mode position.
2) Press the left or right arrow key to move the
carriage to the center of the platen. Then turn
the power off.
3)
Remove the head joint from the cartridge. Then
put the head joint on the joint stand.
4)
Remove all the bubble jet cartridge.
CAUTION
Install new bubble jet cartridges whenever
the printer is installed.
5) Fix the carriage using the carriage fixing plate
which have been removed when the printer
was installed.
