from falling and to protect the memory wire.

Disconnect the short flexible cable (C) (J402)
© from the carriage PCB and disconnect the
ribbon cable (J409) @ from the MR sensor.
8) Remove the two mounting screws (8) from the
MR sensor.

11) Release hooks and remove the carriage home
position sensor @.
12) Remove the two mounting screws (3 on the
right pulley mount.

—— CAUTION
When a magnetic screwdriver is used, take
care not to let it come close to the memory
wire.
9} Move the carriage to the right end of the platen
manually.
