7.5.4.1 General information

B&R supports Linux in the form of modified images based on Debian GNU / Linux 9 ("Stretch").
Reasons for Debian:
• High stability
• Large package selection
• Wide distribution of Debian and various derivatives (e.g. Ubuntu, Linux Mint)
