The extremely compact size and attractive
design of the SX-5 allows the system to
be mounted in any office or home environment
Reserve Power
2 0 4 If required, the SX-5 may be connected to
a reserve power supply which will maintain
system operation for a minimum of 45 minutes
(average two hours).
Maintenance
2 0 5 The SX-5 is shipped fully equipped from
the factory. In case of a malfunction, main-
tenance can be simplified to system replacement
or, if mo&le faults are identified, the second
level of entry allows module replacement by a
quatif ied technician. Refer to Section 8 Installation
and Maintenance Requirements of this practice.

The second level o f entry should only
be attempted b y a qualified tech-
nician.

The SX-5 and all primary and reserve
power supplies should be grounded in
accordance with accepted practices t o
prevent damage t o the system. MITE1
provides technical bulletins, as well
as the detailed installation informa-
tion contained in Section MITL9103-
098-200-NA,
concerning correct in-
stallation practices. These are availa-
ble on request. Adherence t o the prac-
tices outlined in these bulletins w i l l
minimize the possibility o f damage to
electronic devices (such as the SX-5)
from static discharge and AC power
surges.
