The VITC RDR MODE menu item on the GENERATOR menu controls
whether the 5010-SIE will use LTC or VITC from the VTR when it is
encoding time information.
Select LTC to use the LTC reader in the VTR.
Select VITC to use the VITC reader in the VTR.
Select AUTO to use whichever reader the VTR is using. The VTR must be
set to the Auto Reader mode.
