Use the Adjustable Pole Clamp Tube Support Guide

A. Remove cap from tube connector.
B. Secure cap while not in use.
C. Replace cap on tube connector after disconnecting from patient.
CAUTION: When attaching Kangaroo OMNI™ Enteral Feeding Pump to the
IV pole, take precautions to ensure the IV pole remains stable while in use.
A. Place the inside elbow of the clamp against the IV pole.
B. Turn the knob to the right to tighten the pole clamp against the IV pole
so it is secure and does not slide down the pole.
C. Rotate the plastic latch plate of the pole clamp so that the "slide and
click" feature looks like an upside down letter "U" and the arrow is
pointing down.
A. Place the back of Kangaroo OMNI™ Enteral Feeding Pump against the
flat portion of the pole clamp latch plate. Line up the latch plate guide
(upside down "U").
B. Slide Kangaroo OMNI™ Enteral Feeding Pump downward (while keeping
contact with the guide) until you hear a positive "click", indicating
Kangaroo OMNI™ Enteral Feeding Pump is properly seated. To remove
Kangaroo OMNI™ Enteral Feeding Pump, gently pull upward.
Note: The plastic retention plate can be rotated in 90 degree
increments to allow for attachment to a horizontal tabletop surface or
a horizontal bed rail. To rotate, grasp the latch plate and twist until the
latch plate "pops" into the next angled position.
The plastic retention plate can also be tilted in 15 degree increments to
allow the user to choose an optimum viewing angle.
A. Ensure the cassette is properly loaded.
B. Select the tube that goes to the patient (tube exiting the right side of
the cassette).
C. Press the tubing into the tube guide creating a loop above
Kangaroo OMNI™ Enteral Feeding Pump.
D. Ensure that the loop has sufficient length to make a gradual curve.
