Pause Feeding

The Timed Pause feature allows Kangaroo OMNI™ Enteral Feeding Pump to be paused temporarily for a period of
5 to 240 minutes. While paused, Kangaroo OMNI™ Enteral Feeding Pump will move a very small amount of feeding
solution through the Kangaroo OMNI™ Feeding Set.
WARNING: When the pause duration ends, Kangaroo OMNI™ Enteral Feeding Pump will automatically
restart feeding.
Note: The flow rate during the timed pause is 0.175 mL/hr for pause times greater than 30 minutes.
Note: The Timed Pause feature can be disabled though Biotech mode if users want to avoid its use.

A. Press the Timed Pause button. Default pause time is 5 minutes.
Note: An amber screen with a stationary droplet means the feeding
is paused.
B. To adjust pause duration from 5 minutes, press the Adjust
Duration button.
C. Press the + and – buttons to select the new duration.
D. Press the OK button to confirm the desired pause time. The Timed
Paused screen will show a time countdown until the pause duration
is complete.
E. Press the Resume button to end the Timed Pause early and
immediately resume feeding.
