6a. Adjusting Continuous Feeds
Continuous Feeds is a feeding mode where a patient is fed continuously at a prescribed flow rate. The Rate
feature on Kangaroo OMNI™ Enteral Feeding Pump is used to establish a fixed volume per hour (mL/hr) rate that
will continue until the feed runs out or Kangaroo OMNI™ Enteral Feeding Pump is stopped.

6b. Adjusting Intermittent Feeds
The Intermittent Feeding feature on Kangaroo OMNI™ Enteral Feeding Pump is used to deliver a fixed volume of
feed to the patient. Kangaroo OMNI™ Enteral Feeding Pump can be configured to deliver a single feed or multiple
feeds at fixed intervals. Once the Intermittent Feeding is complete, Kangaroo OMNI™ Enteral Feeding Pump will
stop operation and display a "Feed Complete" notification.

A. Press the Adjust Rate button to set the continuous feeding rate.
B. Press the + and – buttons to increase or decrease the rate.
Note: Press and hold either button to accelerate the numbers.
Note: If accessing Bolus Max feature, navigate to a rate of 400mL/hr,
then press the + button again. A confirmation screen will appear that
will allow access to Bolus Max.
C. Press the OK button when desired rate has been selected.
Note: If the Ready to Feed screen has the Adjust Rate button on the
top left of the screen, Intermittent Mode will need to be enabled
before the feature can be used. Please refer to the next section to
enable Intermittent Mode.
