13. Go to the back of the rack.
14. Loosen, but do not remove , the 6 retaining screws that secure the rail-length
adjusting plate to the rail.
Note: The rail-length adjusting plate should not move freely when loosened;
15. Facing the back of the rack; ensure that the left rail's two alignment pins are
positioned in the correct EIA holes. Use 2 retaining screws to attach the rail
brackets to the rack flanges. Finger-tighten both screws.
16. Using a screwdriver, tighten the six screws that secure the rail length adjusting
plate.
17. Again, facing the back of the rack; ensure that right rail's two alignment pins are
positioned in the correct EIA holes. Finger-tighten one retaining screw into the
bottom screw hole of the rail flange. This is the screw hole located one position
below the bottom alignment pin.

however, you should be able to make an adjustment by moving the
adjustment plate with one hand and holding the remaining portion of rail in
the other hand.
