5.5 Description of the LEDs for the connection to the
network (Industrial Ethernet only)
An Industrial Ethernet device has 2 LEDs on each RJ45 connector to show the status of the connection to
the network.

Behaviour Meaning
ON, Connection to the parent protocol layer is established. Data is
fast blinking being exchanged.
ON, No connection to the protocol layer.
slow blinking
OFF No connection to the network.
ON Connection to the network is established.
OFF No connection to the network.
