Command Usage
The time acquired from time servers is used to record accurate dates and
times for log events. Without SNTP, the access point only records the time
starting from the factory default set at the last bootup (i.e., 00:14:00, January
1, 1970).
Example
SMC AP(config)#sntp-server enable
SMC AP(config)#
Related Commands
sntp-server ip (7-35)
show sntp (7-38)

sntp-server date-time

This command sets the system clock.
Default Setting
00:14:00, January 1, 1970

This example sets the system clock to 17:37 June 19, 2003.
SMC AP#sntp-server date-time
Enter Year<1970-2100>: 2003
Enter Month<1-12>: 6
Enter Day<1-31>: 19
