Description
Enter any whole number between 0 to 65535 as the
circuit identification that is used to identify the card's
span. This number is assigned to a specific IP
address. Therefore, when defining several spans
(different cards) each should be assigned a unique
Circuit ID number.
The Circuit ID is used later to assign this Network
Service to the IP card (see "Assigning Network
Services to the IP/IP+ Cards" on page 3-58).
The IP address of the IP network card installed in the
MCU. Each card has a specific IP address. This
address is assigned to the Circuit ID.
If the DHCP option is selected for this Network
Service, this field is disabled, and shows the address
0.0.0.0, as the IP address will be retrieved from the
DHCP.
Indicates the data transmission rate and duplex
mode. When set to Auto the system synchronizes
the data transmission rate according to the network.
You can also force the router to connect to the IP
card installed in the MCU at the following data
transmission rates according to the network's
capabilities:
•
10 Mb Half Duplex
•
10 Mb Full Duplex
•
100 Mb Half Duplex
•
100 Mb Full Duplex
Full Duplex refers to the transmission of data in two
directions simultaneously.
Half Duplex refers to the transfer of data in only one
