Operating Principle

Vanquish Pumps (VH-P10) Operating Manual
The pump can generate pressures up to 151 MPa with ultra-low
pulsation. The pump is based on a two-channel, dual-piston design with
electronic compressibility compensation.

Each pump head comprises two cylinders that are connected in parallel.
Thus, the solvent passes only one cylinder when the pump is delivering.
To achieve continuous delivery, one cylinder is refilled while the other
cylinder is delivering at the selected flow rate.
