When the interleaver units are unlocked and the interleaver sled
is subsequently pulled out, the safety query is interrupted and the
machine stops.
To continue cutting operations, the sled must be retracted
completely and the lock engaged.
To check the correct assembly of the cutting edge, the locking
bolts of the cutting edge are queried pneumatically and the start of
the machine is prevented in the event of incorrect assembly.
This serves to prevent damage to the cutting edge by the circular
knife or sickle knife.
Drive motors (protection type IP 54) and electrical equipment are
accommodated in the basic housing structure. The components
are sufficiently protected against the effect of cleaning agents and
disinfectants as well as cleaning water.
Electrical system complies with EN 60204-1 Part 1.
