Setting up the blade guide of the paper splitting unit

– Loosen the guide pieces (1) by turning the locking screws (2) to the left.
– Align the guide pieces (1) in the same way as the blade (3) of the paper splitting unit (4)
– Secure guide pieces by turning the locking screws to the right.

Check, set and change blade

– Perform visual inspection of the cutting quality at the cutting point of the paper.
– Loosen the blade guide (1) by tilting (A) and push into the desired position (B)on the
specified grid(2).
– In case of a worn blade, (3) remove it from the blade guide and replace with a new blade.

For safe guidance of the blade, the two
guide pieces must be aligned and secured
correctly flush with the blade.
For a clean cut of the paper, the blade must
be checked, readjusted, and replaced if
necessary in the meantime.
The blade can be adjusted in specified steps
to ensure a permanently good cutting
quality.
If the blade is worn, it must be replaced.
