7.6 Setting the side stop and vertical cutting edge

In order to achieve optimal deposit of the products, it is necessary to adjust the product
passage width with the side stop and the vertical cutting edge according to the cutting shaft
usage examples.
NOTE!
When using a mold shell, the hygiene screws on the underside of the cutting
edge carrier 3 must be loosened prior to adjusting the side stop with tools by
turning to the left.

- When using a mold shell 1, the hygiene screws 2 on the underside of the cutting edge carrier
3 must be fastened after adjusting the side stop.
When using a mold shell 1, the hygiene
screws 2 on the underside of the cutting edge
carrier 3 must be loosened prior to adjusting
the side stop with tools by turning to the left
(Fig. 50 c).
The side stop 1 is adjusted together with the
vertical cutting edge 2 (or the mold shell) by
turning the hexagon screw 3 on the feed
housing with a suitable tool (Fig. 51).
Turning to the right causes a reduction of the
cutting shaft width.
Turning to the left causes an increase of the
cutting shaft width
