A negative pressure is exerted on the paper
at the paper control unit/paper brake.
This negative pressure allows a safe
guidance of the paper and keeps it
tensioned at varying feed speeds.
The negative pressure or braking force is
set via a compressed air throttle inside the
interleaver housing.
The paper is guided in the direction of the
cutting edge or the cutting head housing via
the 90° deflection.
