The reinforcing tapes are 20 mm wide, so mark
less than half, 9 mm from the edge of the sails.
Now glue reinforcing tape to the bottom leech
and the front leech. Turn the sail and glue the
protruding reinforcing tape onto the sail.
Do this for both the mainsail and the jib.
Next, reinforce the corners of the sails, head,
neck and clew. Use the 30 mm wide reinforc-
ing tape.

Now the fastening eyes can be attached to the
corners. For this purpose, the kit includes the
eyes (pos. 139) and 2 washers (pos. 140).
To make the holes, grind the hole punch pos.
144 sharply and punch the holes in the cor-
ners.
Now put one eyelet with washer through each
hole and put a washer on the opposite side.
Now the eyelets can be crimped. This can be
done with a suitable pair of pliers or punch or
with a Phillips screwdriver. At the mainsail
neck, place the eyelet so that the corner can
be bevelled.
