On deck the shroud tensioners are hooked into
the aft eye bolt. With this the mast will stand.
When the mast is aligned, the lower crimp
sleeves can also be crimped. Now the tension-
ers can be tightened gently.
Now you can attach the upper shrouds. Start at
the mast top.
Pass the shrouds through the eyelets on the
spreaders and attach them to the shroud ten-
sioners.

10. Fabricating the sails
Now the sails will be made. In the kit the sails
are pre-cut and the material for finishing the
sails is included.
First some terms on the sail.

First mark the edges for gluing on the reinforc-
ing strips.
