By grinding ("shanks") we achieve a larger
bonding surface than with butt bonding.
Glue the strips together and press them to-
gether with clamps for bonding.
Start at the bow and fix the rubbing strake with
super glue. Cut off the protruding end at the
stern.
Now run superglue from below into the
edge/joint, and glue the rubbing strake to the
hull and deck.
Now glue in the reinforcements for the eye
bolts to fix the shrouds.

the deck.
8. Roof and superstructure
In the next steps build the removable ele-
ments.
First of all make the removable cockpit. Cover
the edges of the cut-out with tape for protec-
tion.
For this purpose glue parts 73 to 81 together.
First, clamp the two cockpit side parts 73 in the
cut-out in the deck.
Now fit parts 74 and 76 and glue them in. Next
take the parts out of the deck and glue on the
bottom. Now glue the remaining parts to com-
plete the assembly.
