Slide and align the complete unit on the hull. It
is important to make sure that the complete
unit can run easily and without force. Align the
adjustable engine mount and tighten the
screws. Once it is ensured that it can run
smoothly, you can start gluing. Use epoxy for
this. First, glue the stern tube into the hull.
After the glue has dried, check again that it can
run smoothly.
Make the brace support of the stern tube from
pine 219. To do so, make a diagonal notch in
the middle of the pine using a round file. Now
glue the pine into the hull as a brace support
under the stern tube.
5.1 Installing the ballast
Now is the time to install the ballast.
4 packages of Krick order No. 60102 1000g are
required for this.
Fill 3200 g of ballast into the keel. Tap lightly
on the side of the boat to allow the ballast to
condense and reduce cavities. The ballast
covers the stern tube in the aft area. Make
sure that the ballast does not obstruct the
rotating shaft and coupling. You can use an
intermediate layer of epoxy resin, e.g. Aero-
poxi Order No. 44010 to fix the grains of the
ballast in place. In any case, this must be done
as a final step. The ballast should be covered
smoothly with resin. If the resin runs too deep
into the keel, add another layer. Do not apply

too much resin at once, as the resin heats up
when hardening.
You can use the remaining ballast to subse-
quently trim the float position.
6. Deck support and servo board
Next install the hull support.
To do so, separate the auxiliary rafter 44 into
pieces approx. 5 cm in length. Attach these
pieces evenly spaced and flush on the upper
edge of the hull with staples.
Next, clip the deck support bars 43 on these
auxiliary rafters on the hull side.
Now fix the deck support bars on the wall of
the hull using spots of medium-viscosity super
glue. After the spots of super glue have dried,
remove the auxiliary rafters. Now the support
boards can be stuck across the entire length
using super glue.
Next, place the deck parts 2 on the support
boards and mark the position of the servo
board part 37 in the hull under the cabin cut-
out.
