The spreaders can be attached to the mast
with the pin pos. 116.
Now you can attach the shrouds and stays to
the mast.
Start with the forestay. Fasten the wire rope to
the upper bracket at the front of the mast.
Measure the wire rope length and add 5 cm of
rope for each loop.
Slide one crimp sleeve part 134 over each cut
steel rope end, slide one loop through the
crimp sleeve and back through the crimp
sleeve.
Then tighten the ends so that the loop disap-
pears in the crimp sleeve.

Now press the sleeve with flat nose pliers and
cut off the end.
Do not yet press the wire rope at the bottom of
the swivel, but wait until the lower shrouds are
in place and the mast is aligned
.
The lower shrouds are attached to the straps
under the spreader.
