At this point it is recommended that the steps
in section 8 are carried out. However, these
steps can also be carried out only after the hull
and deck have been glued together.
Now you can glue the deck to the hull. This is
best done with epoxy resin, Krick item Aero-
poxy Laminating Resin No. 44010, and Mi-
croballoons 44020, which has a working time
of 1 hour. The easiest way to apply the adhe-
sive is to use a piping bag (e.g. from a pastry
shop). Alternatively, Aero Tech Poxy 44022
can be used with dosing gun 44023.
After applying the adhesive bead to the deck
support strips inside the hull, the deck can be
placed on top and fixed with adhesive tape or
weighted down with weights so that the deck
cannot move. The deck should cover the edge
of the hull.
After the glue has dried, you can sand the
edge.
Now attach the rubbing strip part 92. First you
have to make 2 rubbing strakes from the 3
pieces of 1 m strips. First of all, divide one strip
in the middle. Sand one end of a 1 m strip and
a 0.5 m strip at an angle of 20 mm at one end.
