Push the bearing with the hexagon nuts 167
into the keep and screw it tight. The M2 nuts
are dimensioned in such a way that the nut is
fixed in the keep and does not rotate when
tightened.
The bearing for the boom should be fixed at
approx. 100 mm.
Next the boom will be made.
3 mm hole

Drill a 3 mm hole at 5 mm from the edge of the
boom to fix the hinge 111 to the boom.

Later, fix the boom with the screw pos. 168
and a stop nut 113 to the boom bracket.
First drill all holes on the boom.
Bend out the brackets pos. 120 for the down-
haul and mainsheet by bending one eye 90°.
The attachment for the downhaul is 130 mm
from the pivot point of the boom.
The main sheet is attached 160 mm from the
end of the boom. The two cleats 127 can be
screwed on as shown in the illustrations.
Screw with screws 165 to the side of the boom
one cleat 127 50 mm from the end of the boom
to cover the clew and one cleat 127 200 mm
from the boom bracket to cover the downhaul.
Drill holes with a diameter of 1.8 mm here too.
The clew attachment will be inserted into the
keep later after the sail has been attached.
Here the keep must be slightly extended with a
file so that the M2 screws can be inserted. The
